Event blurb:
Queer joy online can be a vital practice of personal and collective resilience in the face of a socio-political landscape of increasing queerphobia. In this webinar, Lexi Webster and members of the Queer joy as a digital good project team will discuss the project’s key findings, highlighting the significance of queer joy in online spaces as a digital good for users, platforms, and policy.
By centring insights from queer users’ knowledge and experiences, the project has also sought to develop new standards for platforms and policymakers.
