Enhancing crisis readiness in Global South countries through intelligent automation
Through this fellowship, Parag Bhatnagar will explore how Intelligent Automation technologies (including Robotic Process Automation and AI-enabled, agentic workflow approaches) can improve crisis readiness in countries across the Global South. These regions may face significant challenges during emergencies, including limited infrastructure, financial constraints, and a lack of skilled workforce.
The aim of his research is to develop an automation framework that enhances emergency preparedness and response, making it more efficient and adaptable to various crises. By creating a structured plan for public sector organisations to adopt Intelligent Automation, the project seeks to reduce delays in emergency responses and ensure better resource management during disasters. Ultimately, the fellowship aims to promote resilience and equity in crisis management by empowering communities with cutting-edge technology.
