Dr Rhianne Jones’ research examines the intersection of public values and data driven technology. She leads the Responsible Innovation Centre for Public Media Futures at BBC R&D. Her research focuses on data stewardship, AI in the media, and public views of data-driven technology. Rhianne is a founding member of the BBC AI ethics group. She also acts as an advisor to the Partnership on AI, Centre for Digital Citizens, Digital Horizon and the The UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Hub.
Rhianne is Industry and Practitioner Engagement Lead for the Digital Good Network.
